Rough Riders is founded on the principle of putting the kids first and supporting our local community. Giving kids an opportunity to play Baseball and Softball with confidence, skill and passion. Providing quality instructions and training to evolve their game.

We support the growth of the sport with quality programs aimed to benefit the kids at any level from recreational to competitive play.

Chad Jacobsen - General Manager

Colorado 5A Player of the Year. Northeastern Junior College  Two Time All Region Player. University of South Carolina Aiken All American award. Hall of Fame Nominee. NCAA 2008 Player of the Year. Two All-Americans & Player of Year Awards. Drafted Rockies in 2015.

Shae Rodriguez - Softball Director

CSU 2011-15, Bachelors Degree in Health & Exercise Science focus in Health Promotion. Four varsity letters in softball. First-team all-conference honors all four years, Colorado's 5A all-state first team in 2009/2010, All-American Legacy High School assistant varsity coach.

Chad Povich - Youth Baseball Director

Denver native Boston Red Sox draft pick after junior year for 3 years, received full-ride to Dixie State College, Utah. Drafted by the Pittsburg Pirates. Pitched in Independent organizations, as named below; American Association- 2010 – Sioux City Explorer, 2011 – 2012 Amarillo Sox, 2013 – 2014 Laredo Lemurs, 2013 – 2014 Laredo Lemurs..

Jarrett Crockett - High School Baseball Director

Three year starter at Horizon High School playing primarily in right field.Played at McCook Community College earning an academic and athletic scholarship.Went on to receive his bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University.


Peyton graduated in 2013 from Carroll Academy High School in Carrollton, Mississippi. There she was a five time all-conference selection. Named the teams best defensive player twice.  As a senior she was team captain, team MVP, MAIS All State and Allstar Team, and MVP of conference. She was also a Wendy’s Heisman Award Winner as a senior. She then went on and played one year at Northwest Community College, signing as utility player- primarily as a pitcher. Peyton has 4 years of experience as a private pitching coach. She also has a associates degree in Applied Science, where she works as a Radiologic Technologist.

Sarah Cochran

Softball Pitching Coach. Associates in Science FHSU 2012-2016 Bachelors in Early Childhood Education Three Varsity Letters in Softball- Second Team Honorable Mention 2009. 18+ years pitching/playing softball. All conference Honorable Mention (2011)

Hannah Bouska

HANNAH BOUSKA - Softball Program Director

Hannah was a four year starter for Oregon State University from 2010-2014. Originally from Oregon, she played on her High School Varsity softball team all four years and was named First-Team All Conference all four years and First-Team All State her Senior year. Her freshman year at Oregon State she was PAC-10 All Freshman Honorable Mention. Was second in the nation for most hits during preseason in 2012. In her 2013 season Hannah had a PAC-12 play of the week with a diving catch in center field. She was a utility player for OSU and played every position except for pitcher and catcher during her collegiate career. Attended two regional tournaments 2012-2013. She is a left handed hitter and a right handed thrower. 

Nico Porreco

Denver native three year varsity letterman at Mullen High School then received an athletic scholarship to Trinidad State Junior College playing two years (2012-14) as an outfielder.  Then received an academic/athletic scholarship to Adams State University playing two years (2014-16) as an outfielder.  Earned RMAC All-Academic Honors.

Nick Foster

 Graduated from Roosevelt High School (Seattle, Wa)  in 2009 where Nick was a 3 year lettermen in both baseball and football. Attended Tacoma Community college freshman year. Sophomore year transferred to Green River Community College where he lead the team in both RBI’s and Home Runs. Both schools are a part of the Northwest...
